Southwest pilot point

Northeast pilot point

Grotnes    pos. N 69°52,4   E 019°47,7

Bridges

Tromsø bridge, eastside of Tromso Island:

Height above waterspring 36.5 m, sailingwidth 60 m, Maximum 5 000 grt.

Sandesundet brigde, westside of Tromsø Island:

Height above watherspring 41,0 m, sailingwidth 140 m.

Tidal information

The tide flows north at LW and south at HW, at speed up to 4,5 knots. The tide can change 1,5 hrs before LW and HW. The mean tidal range is 2.32 metres.
